EKI Donation to Elementary School

The "Petar Petrović Njegoš" Elementary School is located in East Ilidža and is attended by students from the first to the ninth grade. The school was built in 2009, and it received a sports hall only in 2019. Physical education classes during that period were conducted outdoors or in the school lobby, depending on weather conditions. Due to the large number of students, a total of 760, there is a constant need for new sports equipment and props to ensure that the physical and health education of children is at the highest level possible.

The school administration approached EKI with a request for assistance in obtaining sports equipment and props for conducting physical education classes. Understanding the importance of physical education for the proper growth and development of school-age children, the request was positively addressed.

The EKI donation consisted of mats, goals, cones, various balls, and other sports equipment, which, hopefully, will enable them to conduct classes more effectively. The school leadership, together with the director, expressed great gratitude to EKI for this form of donation. Considering the enormous significance of physical education in the growth and development of every student, we believe that this donation will bring them multiple benefits, facilitating easier and higher-quality organization and execution of classes.
