EKI donation at Primary School „Vuk Karadžić“, Višegrad

Primary School "Vuk Karadžić" in Višegrad, currently attended by around 700 students, boasts a rich history and holds great significance for the local community. What makes the school especially valuable is the fact that Nobel laureate Ivo Andrić received his primary education there. Although the school was located at a different site during his time, it was relocated to its current building in 1972, where it has since served students from Višegrad and surrounding areas.

Despite facing challenges such as outdated teaching resources and a lack of equipment, the students and teachers work tirelessly, achieving commendable results. To support them in their efforts, EKI decided to contribute by providing sports equipment to enhance physical education classes. Through this initiative, we aimed to help create better conditions for physical activities and encourage students to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

The donation handover was organized at the school premises, with the participation of the principal, teaching staff, and EKI representatives. We hope this donation will contribute to the development of young individuals and enable them to engage in a variety of sports and school activities.
