EKI Donation to Elementary School

The Antun Branko i Stanislav Šimić Elementary School is located in the village of Drinovci in the municipality of Grude. In the classrooms of the main school and its branches in Tihaljina and Drinovačko brdo, 335 students attend classes across more than 20 classrooms.

The teachers at this school strive to provide their students with high-quality education, and for the well-being of the students, they are willing to seek assistance from various sources. One of the challenges that hindered them and made the effective teaching of physical education almost impossible was the lack of adequate sports equipment. They wanted to provide better conditions for their students' education, so they reached out to EKI for help.

The donation was successfully realized as part of EKI's Socially Responsible Activities project during the year 2021. It included various equipment and sports gear such as balls for different sports, hula hoops, jump ropes, steppers, balance boards, and more.

During the handover, the school director expressed gratitude to EKI for the assistance and emphasized that such moments, unfortunately, are not common, and EKI is one of the rare organizations willing to help them.
