EKI donation at the Vuk Karadžić Elementary School, Trebinje

Vuk Karadžić Elementary School is located in Trebinje and belongs to the local community of Police. It is a nine-year school with over 800 students attending its classes. Some of them also attend classes at a separate school facility located in the suburban area of Petrovo Polje.

The school has been in existence for almost 50 years, but due to a lack of sports equipment, it was not suitable for conducting physical education classes. The number of students in the school is large, and the sports equipment is consumable, so their need for new equipment and teaching aids was significant. They reached out to EKI with a request for assistance in the equipment procurement process to provide students with better conditions for physical and health education classes.

The donation was successfully realized as part of the "Socially Responsible Activities" project and consisted of various equipment and sports gear, such as footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, handballs, basketball boards, netting for basketball hoops, cones, hoops, poles, and more.

The school's director expressed gratitude on behalf of the students and staff to EKI for this donation and expressed hope for continued successful cooperation in the future. We hope that the new sports equipment will make physical education classes more accessible and interesting for the students.
